It’s been a busy week, let’s see what I’ve done. I might keep on doing this to keep myself honest.

Prepped for the week ahead, wrote the post I posted on September 4. I did some research on new (fanfic) writing challenges and found the Friday Five by Long and Short Reviews, and sure, her website is all about fiction and not fanfiction, but it’s still writing and I need to get my way back into the swing of things.
I’m sure that, eventually, I’ll find communities on Dreamwidth that aren’t inactive.
And, as it happened, the muse bit for this coming Friday Five’s prompts, so I started writing. And heck, it’s fiction. It’s original.

I can’t believe that naps are this awesome.
One of my goals today was to write 500 words to Kingdom. I’m working on finishing it and I just wanted to give myself a goal. It took me a few hours, and perhaps longer than I had hoped for, but I have to be nice to myself. Kingdom was something I started in 2020, all my notes are gone because there wasn’t a real back up and I’m having to re-read most of the stuff to make sure I don’t repeat myself. Although I’m pretty sure that I am haha. I wrote 800 words on Kingdom, and finished writing chapter 17. *pats self on shoulder* I did great!

Okay with a lot of humidity, no wind and temperatures of 30C+ … my brain went BOOM. And this temperature will be here for the next few days. My room has a tiny ass window so… yay?
Posted a blog post about writing in a singular fandom and if it’s possible for me to do so (the answer is yes, but crossovers are SO MUCH FUN).

Last night was spent on a FiveM server where I started three years ago; I rejoined their discord and everything. I’m not sure if I want to go back to roleplaying there, even though a lot of people still knew who I was. But I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, or a bad thing. When I RP in a position (aka work), I take my shit seriously, perhaps too seriously sometimes. (Oh, the amounts of paperwork I’ve accumulated in the last 3 years…) This also causes me to stress out, get upset that other people aren’t that serious about their roleplay and then work harder and… yeah. Nope.
Honestly, in the city I’m in now, I’m 3rd in command of the Emergency Medical Services but I haven’t been on duty in a while, I’m just burnt out, I guess. I’ve been playing The Elder Scrolls Online, and recently Heartstone again. I was also given two DLC’s for Two Point Campus.

Wrote Chameleon’s Dilemma for Friday Five hosted by Long and Short reviews, it’s an original story based on a FiveM character of mine, the same one I used in No Other Lover. Click on the banner to take you there. It’s short!
I found another prompt to write, and have been talking to Meeko on discord on how to approach it. I asked her to give me a pairing, without the story turning into something like we’ve previously written like Bank Job (Ziva David/John Sheppard, NCIS/Stargate Atlantis, rating M) from 2011 and I think there might be a way…
Especially with Meeko enabling me… I swear to god, if this story ends up more than 5,000 words… I HAVE KINGDOM STILL TO FINISH DAMNIT.

Eh, I took a few days off from writing but I have a busy week ahead.
That being said; I posted something for September 12, which is a FANFIC. Back in the day (waaaayyy back in the day) Meeko and I wrote Stargate Atlantis/NCIS crossovers.
