Helloooo!!!!
Let’s talk music. And fic…
This new fic started as 7 pages of notes; I have no title as of yet, and progress is slow. I just know that it’s going to be involved and I don’t know yet how things are going to turn out.
But at least I have the first part all plotted out with details I wanted to remember because I don’t want to end up forgetting what I did and then think of explanations of different events and recollections (especially when you have to calculate x amount of years…).
Good news; chapter 1 is finished!! I’m now actually agonizing over what I’m going to name this fic, but as you guys know, I probably won’t start posting unless I’m sitting on at least a few finished chapters, so naming this thing isn’t that important, yet.
Whenever I write a story, I usually have a playlist going that I’ll listen to on repeat, songs that might fit both main characters for the story. However, I feel I’m more productive when I’m not listening to any lyrics and in the past have recommended people to listen to Lindsey Stirling or any instrumental music instead.
EDIT: I forgot how freaking awesome the Arrow soundtrack is to write on. Holy crap. Fingers of speeeeeeed
In any case; my current playlist for this story (as it’ll likely change) is called “Unnamed Story Inspo”. I’m listening to it on repeat while writing, it almost becomes like a mediation and I realized today that… this playlist won’t match the story vibe I’m aiming for… *sigh*
