Happy New Year everyone!
How did you celebrate? I just spent time on my computer, as always, playing games or writing – which is far from a normal way of spending New Year’s Eve. People usually gather together, watching some New Year’s special on the television, with snacks (cheese, meat, oliebollen (fried dough with or without raisins, kinda like donuts but not)) and booze. Playing (board) games. Watching (or setting off) fireworks. Not me. I’m not social and setting off fireworks scare the shit out of me.
Like every year, I posted my Year in Review for 2023 a few days ago. I made a good effort this year to get the writing back into my fingers, and one of my goals this year is to keep going.
Because you know, out with the old, in with the new. That’s what New Years are for. Today is the first blank page out of 365 new blank pages.
I don’t use this blog for personal stuff, but for writing things. The next year is going to be a lot better than 2023 when it comes to stories. I also have Meeko to keep me accountable! We’re both going to try to make 2024 the year of the story come back, I think. At least I’m going to try; if no bad shit is coming my way again. Because real life is just a biggg downer.
But, I hope to have some more peace in 2024 in my personal life.
For 2024, I hope that you’ll experience joy, laughter, kindness and fill your new blank pages with a new story!

Looking ahead, in 2024 I’d like to put out more than just fanfiction. I want to write some blogs in regards to fandom/fanfiction, too. I’m dragging Meeko with me, we have a spreadsheet where we plan out some blogs, but the question is…
