Here’s some news on my new story; Underground Railroad!
I have been teasing you since, what? January? It’s when I started this story after finishing Intertwined. I have used this story as my Camp Nano project to get words added and to push me closer to the finish line because OMG this story is such a hoot!
It has everything. Drama. Humor. Borderline Crack. Growth. Revenge. Puppies.
I spoke to Meeko the other day because she’s not allowing me to start posting this story. At first, she was like… “Until you’re near finished with posting Intertwined.” And she stuck with it for a very long time. But the thing is… I’m uploading WEEKLY. A chapter a week, and I’m currently working on chapter 26 of Underground Railroad.
If I’d start posting when I was done with Intertwined, that would mean that Underground Railroad wouldn’t be posted in the same year as I started it for my end of the year recap that I always do and that sucks. There are only 52 weeks in a year, you see 🙂
So… without further delay, I can now announce that I will start posting this story on May 1st! But, if you click on the banner now, it’ll take you to the cover page with some more information on the story. Let the hype begin!
I’m organizing a Big Bang over at Fictional Retreat. It’s a challenge where you have to write 25,000 words or more, in 3-4 months, and hopefully a complete story out of it, because that will be the challenge! It’s actually something from my previous fandom life, and it may look daunting but it’s basically one giant party and you write, write, write! Meeko and I wrote Broken Bird in 2011 for a Big Bang with the minimum wordcount also being 25k. Broken Bird is over 100k long!
For this project I will be writing Myriam Jenkins’ origin story!
