Choo-Choo!

The most incredible thing has happened; I finished writing Fractured Marionette! There are still 10 chapters to post and all we need to do is to edit it and tweak it a little. I wrote a little over 100.000 words in a little over 5 weeks. How amazing is that?

Of course, I wouldn’t have been anywhere without my wifey, my beta. Meeko. Whenever I was stuck, she offered me an idea to turn it around. Most nights we were giggling on skype whenever an idea popped up and she helped me immensely, as always.

Last night I also uploaded chapter 16 of the story. Yes, this means that it’ll have 26 chapters.

I’m so flattered that people seem to like this story and take the time to read and review. Or are poking me for updates, cheering when I tease. It’s actually quite overwhelming 🙂

Now that I’ve finished FM, I’m going back to writing Missed Connections. That story is almost complete anyway and I want to finish it before the end of this year. Funny, isn’t it? October arrives and people start freaking out about the end of the year. It’s only three months away people! Time to finish stuff! – And hey, I’ve uploaded chapter 14! As I type this, I’m working on chapter 15 and it might be its last.

It’s quite a culture shock to work on MC at the moment after having spent 5 weeks with Fractured Marionette; I always intended for MC to be a one shot. One chapter, and due to popular demand I expanded it. I always consider it to be slightly cracky. I think that’s the best way to describe Missed Connections; it’s cracky. And funny. Or I try to make it funny.

So once Missed Connections is done, I’ll continue on Pandore, the sequel to Sanctuaire. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to finish it in 2015. It all depends on the muse. But, last night I uploaded chapter 7.

I’m on a speeding train and I’m waiting for a boulder to derail me! Choo choo!

Of course, Meeko and I shall try to add more words to our collaborations, but that’s the thing about timezones and someone working, you rarely get the time to write together and when you start writing solo, usually that muse screams the loudest.

Oh! And did you know? Meeko and I have started a cooking blog. As of right now, two recipes are up. We still need to make it truly ‘our home’, but it’s there. Let me know what you think!

Until next time,

Buggy.
