I know my website is all about fanfiction and writing it and sharing ideas/guides (seriously, if you want my opinion about something or my help with something, just ask!) and I blog about updates and stuff…

But did you know that the most important thing for a writer is to read?

Let me tell you about this great writer whose books I’ve been sleeping with. Yes. Sleeping with. You’d want to make love to the books and have their babies. Her name is Carolyn Crane and her Dissilusionists trilogy was the first thing that drew me in, mainly because I’m a huge Felicia Day fan and she pimped Carolyn Crane, but Felicia was right!!!

A bit sad that I had finished the trilogy, I went and looked for more. And there was! There are Associates!  And I was so happy that I received an ARC for the last book. My first ARC and it was a hottie! Yowza! Hottie Alpha males and a not-so damsel in distress? Sign me up!

No seriously. These stories are right up your alley. I’ve been raving about Carolyn for a while now, and gah. It’s time to do it here too.

Anyho, today I received a card from Peter MacMillan. He’s the hero from the second Associates book called “Off the Edge”. I really loved Peter. Peter the linguist. Gah. And I received a card. Yep. A card from a fictional character. And it made me swoon.  Thanks Carolyn!
