The update of updates, I guess

Well hello.

So, firstly; this is what you’re all here for so I’m going to put it here: I’ve started posting again on Kingdom, and I’m trying to write an end to it; yes, my binge of playing FiveM and roleplaying that I’m either a medic, cop, or judge is somewhat behind me.

(i.e I’m tired of being screwed over and I might be working on a new server with friends but that’s nowhere near done, nor is there any pressure, plus there’s no interest from me atm so… I’m here.)

Chapter 11 was just posted.

The worst thing that could have happened, happened, though. I LOST ALL MY NOTES BECAUSE I WAS WORKING IN SCRIVENER AND I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED MY PROJECT AND… UGHHHH.

Lesson: Do not write in Scrivener even though it’s a great program.

As of September 2nd, 2022 I’ve stopped smoking! Yay! So far, it’s fairly easy and I don’t experience any negative side effects and I’m not using like nicotine patches. I just… quit.

So… remember how last year, around this time… I had to move? And then I got a nice little apartment?

yeah. Uh. I’m in the same situation AGAIN. Although this time it’s even worse as apparently I’m a small child who can’t take care of myself and the landlord told my dad she was kicking me out (now that she has enough money she doesn’t need me) and didn’t tell me but I still have to leave by October 1.

Not only am I going to be homeless, this also damaged my almost-non-existent relationship with my dad (not going to go into specifics, but I found out what he really thinks of me).

For the last 18 days I’ve been looking for housing (social housing, private housing) and I’ve come close, but with less than 2 weeks go I’m scared that I’m not going to get anything in time.

The main issue I’m running into is private renting; either I have to earn at least 3x the rent, or pets aren’t allowed. Or both. The social housing is that I don’t have enough points ANYWHERE to get a house and I’m relying on luck through house lotteries to hopefully get one.

I can’t stay with my mum (we’re not sure if my cat and her big dog like each other + my brother will want his bed when he spends the weekend at home). I’m obviously not going to my dad. I have no one else, so I am likely going to have to put my stuff into storage, buy a cheap van and live out of a van.

… And that thought scares me.

Vacation homes are expensive. It’s still an easy 2000 euro a month stay in October. Like… how. Actually, it’s not even a full month; it’s 3 weeks. In October I have about 900 to spend after bills. So yeah. Nice.

Then there’s the idea that I’d get rid of my cat. He’s 13. Unvaccinated. Cat hotels don’t take unvaccinated cats so I’d have to have him vaccinated and then after 3 weeks get a booster shot and then wait another 3 weeks… Take him to the pound, same. BUT I AM NOT GETTING RID OF MY CAT. We’ve been together for 13 years. He’s my baby.

So yeah, the idea is to sell my moped, buy a cheap van. Put all my stuff in storage and just take the essentials with me in the van, including a matress etc. Cat stuff. And we’ll see. I guess.

Or hope that I’ll get confirmation of a house in the next few days.

So yes. I’ll likely update with 2 more chapters if things don’t change, and after that you’ll just have to be patient again LOL.
