First off, it’s Meeko‘s birthday today. I made her a graphic and posted it to facebook after giving up on writing her a fic for her birthday. I’m really bad at multitasking when it comes to writing different stories. That ability somehow escapes me.

Secondly… two days ago, Meeko finally watched the Arrow/the Flash crossover in its entirety and she was bitten by plot bunnies that I had already developed and we haven’t really stopped writing since. Only to stop for sleep and work. I can tell you that it’s an Arrow/Flash/Twilight crossover. Yep. The mind boggles…
We’re already on chapter 3 and on about 20k of words. I already told her that this is a new Broken Bird scenario. Considering we were writing that when we pushed out Atlantica instead, often working on both stories or only on Atlantica because we thought that was more fun. (Both stories are great, btw). Not that we’re not having fun with Raising the Stakes (sequel to Gambling Hearts), just because we needed a distraction and boy, do we have one!
It’s actually so bad that I forgot to cook for myself today and ended up burning my potatoes and meat and ordered in instead. I had to eat something! We only have three places to order from in my little town; one Italian restaurant whose food is… meh and two kebab shops and their kebabs taste like plastic. I ordered Italian because it comes with Italian bread and garlic butter but seriously, I need more back up food in the house because I don’t like ordering in!
