It’s December!

How are you guys doing?

It’s December!! Ever since I started writing fanfic again and making this website and interact with people and all, I made it my goal not to have any uncompleted fics at the end of the year. I can proudly say that I’ve finished writing the chapters for A Lightened Path Home, and you’ll see them appear in this month (every Wednesday)!

Speaking of which; have you noticed that both Chapter 10 and 11 (I posted 11 yesterday) have alternative scenes/bonus scenes at the end? They’re not in the story because a) I thought it was out of character b) I thought it was too long or c) we were regressing too much. We need to keep climbing up, peeps, not going back down!

December means that at the end of this month, I’ll post an overview of what I’ve done and I’ll answer some questions about it, just like I’ve done last year. It’s a tradition I allowed to come with me when I left my livejournal blog. The first time I did a ‘year in review’ was… 2006! OMG! And I averaged about 35.000 words IN A YEAR writing by myself. Except for this one year where I was on a roll and did 101k. Heh. Guess I blew that out of the water last year when I wrote 400k by myself. I doubt I’ll get to that this year, but no doubt it’ll be close?

I want to make it extra special this year for its 10 year anniversary so… ask me questions about my writing! It could be anything from my favorite music, or what I’m drinking or what my process is or whatever! Leave it down below and I’ll answer them in this mega post at the end of December!

Looking forward to your questions, ask as many as you like!

  1. What got you started with writing? Are you a writer of some sort by profession (like a journalist or a tech writer) or is writing something you do in your spare time? Have you taken any writing courses? Are you an outline kind of girl, or does everything just flow freely? How did you get started with fanfiction? What fandom was your first?

  2. Do you have a writing process or just write when you can where you can?
