Why do I always think of writing ‘whoops’ when doing an update post?

Hellooooooo! Echoooooo! Oh wait… indoor voice. Hi guys! How’s it going?

It’s been nearly three whole months since writing an update post and damnit, that’s not a ‘whoops’, that’s a ‘shame on you’.

Since the last update, however, I’ve started to use livejournal again. My old stomping grounds. Call it nostalgia. There are a lot of older stories on there, fandom wise or even original, and I missed it. Granted, it’s somewhat dead there, but I hope that things will work out. I already made a new friend, so that’s a plus! And some of my old friends are still there!

I used to write NCIS stories, and I was actually bitten by a bunny for one of my old pairings, so I might start writing that soon, but this new Kol/Bella story is currently eating my brain. Just for a change of fandom again (But it might involve our beloved hybrid too).

 

I’ve had a good think about my original character Myriam Jenkins, who pops up everywhere these days in either my stories or that of Meeko, and maybe it was a bad idea to write Lagniappe because it’s basically a Myriam-centric story and nobody truly seems to like it.

And it’s fine.

I’m not mad, not hurt, not angry.

Because I knew this was going to be a big possibility.  

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and if Lagniappe isn’t for them as it features mostly an original character who’s been a side character in other stories before, then so be it. I wanted to write the story and I had fun doing it. I wanted to try something else. Not everything I write is everyone’s cup of tea. I still love you nonetheless.

BTW, chapter 24 is now up, 7 chapters to go to make public 😉 Give or take 3 weeks.

 

So in my last real update post, I asked for titles for my new Kol/Bella story, and Meeko won that – seeing as she was the only one handing in something. She came up with Relativity.

And guess what? Chapter 1 is posted! (click on the banner)

I’m slowly making progress on the story, I’ve started Chapter 16 four days ago and haven’t written anything. But that’s because it’s a scene I want to start and it just has to be perfect, you know. Just perfect. Or perfectly hilarious. Perhaps both.
